Brake Pad & Rotor Replacement

During the replacement of pads & rotors the following are cleaned, lubed and inspected to help prevent brake noise, pulsation, vibration & excessive brake wear:

Clean the piston face & inspect the dust boots on the caliper pistons. The calipers will also be checked to make sure the pistons retract with ease to make sure the calipers don't cause the new brakes to drag & cause premature brake wear.
The caliper slide pins will be cleaned up and lubed with silicone paste to keep them moving freely. Silicone paste works better than most other lubes that are oil based & can cause the rubber boots on the pins to swell.
Clean up where the rotor will make contact with the wheel hub.
Clean up any rust build up on the caliper brackets where the brake pads ride to prevent the brakes from sticking.
Clean any dirt, oil & grease that is on the rotor surface.

Brake Line Replacement

Providing installation of premade direct replacement brake lines for your vehicle when available. I can also make replacement brake lines on site from NICOPP DOT approved brake line that will not rust.

Brake Bleeding

Vacuum brake bleeding for most makes & models with the ability to pressure bleed some models of Ford & GM/Chevy pick up trucks.
